Celebration of the European Day of Languages (26th September)
This year 2021 the European Day of Languages celebrates its 20th anniversary. During the week from 27th to 30th of September, students and teachers of our schools celebrated the importance of learning languages.
Students talked about languages and their importance. They were able to learn new words in different languages and contexts, in a playful way and according to the syllabus of the subjects involved, especially Portuguese, English and French. They developed and enriched their vocabulary and were made aware of the importance of language learning as a fundamental tool for communication, which is one of the basic skills, taking into account the profile of the student at the end of compulsory education and as one of the most important 21st century skill. They spread the Word and wrote different messages in different languages.
