Vocational High School of Fashion and Tourism “St. Ivan Rilski” (PGOT) is a school with 50 years of history and innovative spirit.We have trained thousands of specialists for the needs of our country, who are capable and well educated people ready to conquer the future.
In our high school there are 236 students in full-time course of studies, independent and individual course of studies in the following specialties:
Catering, Production of culinary products and beverages, Production of bread and baked goods and Tourist animation. Each classroom has a smart TV, and the online classes take place in Zoom, Teams and Shkolo platforms. Our kitchens, bartending, serving and catering cabinets are at the level of renowned world restaurant chains. We learn and cooperate with the most famous chefs and restaurateurs. We prepare culinary temptations for high-ranking officials.
Our high school has an impressive sports complex with opportunities for sports and leisure activities of our graduates.
The students are 15-18 ages. In Vocational High School of Fashion and Tourism “St. Ivan Rilski ” train 24 students with special educational needs. In school has created conditions for integration of these students and taken to their socialization. All students have the opportunity to participate in clubs like out of class activities.
The students obtain diploma for secondary education and certificate for professional qualification.
Every year our students get involved in joint activities and experience exchange with their peers from Italy, Spain, Latvia, Turkey, Poland, Romania, the Czech Republic, Croatia, Slovakia, and Portugal under the Erasmus+ program. Students have the chance to meet with young people from different places around the world, to make friendships and that leaves them with unforgettable experiences.

School roots date back to 1949 when it was a vocational school for Custom factories VKUS /sewing of clothes/. School was later transformed several times. On the 1st of Sept 2006 was formed Spojena škola with establishments Gymnasium and Associated Secondary School of Fashion. 16/3/2009 – was created Joined school/Spojená škola with establishments Gymnasium and Secondary School of Applied Arts. 17/8/2013 – the third branch of the school – Secondary woodcraft school
The school is located in the capital of Slovakia near the city center. At school we have students ( about 10 % ) with special needs.
The school is involved in many national but also international projects and competitions. Our students received prominent awards – 1st place and 3rd place in the model creation IKEA rock fashion show in October 2015, an international competition FASHION GAMES 2015 Praha- II. place, competition Top Bride 2015 – Bride of the future in Nitra – national competition of hairdressers, makeup artists and designers we gained three awards. We have cooperation with Junior Achievement Slovakia in the program Applied Economics and we annually take part in trade fairs of student´s companies. Our students study: advertising design, fashion design, design of furniture and interior, conservation and restoration works – woodcarvings, styling and marketing.

It is a nonprofit government vocational school in Manisa. It was built in 2011 according to the needs of private sector. Manisa is rapidly developing industrial and tourism zone and the city of Manisa is also widely visited, especially during March and September festivals. That’s why our school is very
MAIN AIMS; Training qualified staff including the innovative knowledge needed by private sector. Our school would like to be known as a reliable institution that focuses on development with its institution culture and staff potential. There are 34 teachers, 1 nurse, 3 care attendants and 477 hundred students at our school. It has three floors and include a huge and modern kitchen for cooking and practicing for the food and beverage students, a canteen for students, dormitory (100 bed capacity) a library supported with computers, model hotel rooms and a reception for practicing.
A big conference salon, sport salon and a lot of classes with smart boards. The school has very large garden decorated with palm trees and tropical plants also flowers at a grassy area.
